Welcome to the home of the Clan Egan, for the descendants of Aodhagáin, hereditary Brehons (or Judges) in Connaught, Leinster and Ormond.  This includes the anglicised names MacEgan, Egan, Eagan, Eagen and Keegan. 

The purpose of the Clann Mac Aodhagáin web site is to provide a common repository for information concerning the MacEgan families in all their differing spellings.  It provides:

• A lineages database of known members of the MacEgan families.  You can have your Egans included in this database.
• A list of contacts of other members of the Egan family to share your family history with. 
• An archives of information that includes census indexes, tax lists, passenger lists, etc. - all pertaining to the MacEgan family.
• Highlights from the International Clan Egan Rally 2000 in Ireland and Rally 2002 in Australia.
  
• A forum to post your search query and view others.
